GIVING

Why we give

God is generous and He calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are and helps proclaim the Gospel. We want to glorify God in every corner of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." - Matthew 6:21

FAQ's

What is the different between a tithe and an offering?
The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing is giving the first ten percent of our income back to God. The Bible says that everything we have comes from Him, so tithing is actually returning to God what belongs to Him. When we tithe, we are putting God first in our lives and trusting Him to provide for all of our needs. An offering is anything we give beyond the 10%.
How does RHCC maintain financial accountability?
RHCC has a long-standing record of completing a full audit of our finances every two years, with a partial audit done in the alternating years. In addition, we have several safeguards in place to prevent fraudulent activity from any elder or staff member.
Is my giving tax deductible?
Yes. Rolling Hills Covenant Church is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donations to the General, Missions, Benevolence, Scholarship and Designated Funds are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
When will I receive my giving statement?
The annual giving statement will be mailed to regular attenders/supporters by January 31 for the previous year. Please be sure to let us know if your address changed by filling out a Connect Card or you can email us at mtarvin@rhcc.net
