Come help our junior highers navigate successfully through the beginning teen years by leading them in a small group on Wednesday nights. It's an amazing opportunity to build relationships and show God's love through intimate connection with 7th and 8th graders. Leading a group is a two-year commitment that starts with 7th grade. Each group is made up of 8-10 students based on grade and gender. For more information contact Pastor Lloyd Gilbert at 310.521.2537.
Ministers of Pastoral Care (MPCs) Based on the biblical truth that every Christian is a minister, Ministers of Pastoral Care are people called and gifted by God to care for the "pastoral" needs of of the family of God. They serve with our pastoral staff to bring love, truth, compassion, and the resources of the body of Christ in times of sickness, bereavement and challenge. Pastor John Thill and Mrs. Janet McCardle give leadership to this ministry. Contact Cathie Freeman at 310.521.2516.
Missionary Home Team- Join the "Home Team" and provide visiting and returning missionaries with a loving and supportive welcome home! Join the Core Team and become a point person for an individual or family, or join the Support Team and choose a particular activity or service to provide the missionary (e.g. transportation, dinner host, church service greeter, escort, etc.) Our goal is to enable our missionaries to return to their place of service refreshed and reassured of the love, concern and interest of those standing with them here at RHCC.
