Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."(Matthew 19:14) RHCC Preschool is a half‑day enrichment program designed to meet the needs of children ages 3-5. We offer two‑day and three‑day programs with a choice of three or five hours per day. Believing that each child is a precious and unique creation of God, we use a developmental method of teaching which nurtures the individuality of each student while at the same time developing social and cognitive skills.
Our Goal
We believe that each child is a unique creation of God, to be treated with love, care and respect. It is our goal to encourage a healthy self concept for each child, a love for the Lord, and an excitement and joy about learning.
Our Program
Our program is designed to meet the varying needs of the busy preschooler by seeking to balance active and quiet times, and individual and group experiences.
Our Schedule
Each day our schedule includes Jesus Time, Story Time, Music and Movement, Art and Crafts, Learning Centers, Free Play, and Outdoor Time. We also provide a nutritious snack for our students daily.
Our Teachers
Our staff is composed of carefully selected individuals sensitive to the needs of children and trained in the field of Early Childhood Education with qualifying certificates.
Registration Requirements
Our Preschool is open to children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old, regardless of race, gender, color, creed and national or ethnic origin. Children must be 3-years-old by December 31 of the school year and completely toilet trained.
Enrollment Process
To enroll you must complete an application form and submit it with the $85.00 non-refundable registration fee. If your child is placed on the waiting list, you must complete the registration form and pay the $50.00 waiting list fee which will be applied to the registration fee balance upon enrollment. The waiting list fee is non-refundable if we are able to place your child by the beginning of the school year.
Open House: Each year in February we hold an open house for the public to meet our teachers and visit the school. For the 2008-2009 school year, Open House is Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 10:00 a.m.-
Registration: We are currently accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year. You may come to the Preschool Office located in Building B downstairs from 9:00 AM - 2:00PM Monday - Friday. A non-refundable registration fee of $85.00 is due when you apply. You will be informed at that time if your child is enrolled in our preschool or on a waiting list.
