Passage: Acts 2:36-47
Series: WITH
Duration: 38 mins 5 secs
Pastor Shawn Hurley – We conclude this series by looking back and learning from the example that was set to us by the early church. The early church devoted themselves to God's Word and devoted themselves to each other. The Church focused their lives around the disciples teaching, and they cared for one another's needs. They experienced close community in each other's homes, which Acts calls a special type of koinonia (Fellowship). As the Church dynamically lived out the truth of the Gospel in relationship with one another, "the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." As the Church lives out the Gospel, the world is reached and brought into the hope of the Gospel that exists in the body of Christ.

Pastor Garrick Hanger – As the family of God we are invited into God’s mission together. Jesus as our model in that mission sees and pursues unlikely characters. He values them and orients his life and days around their desperate need to know his heavenly father. He invites them into relationship despite his many pressing demands. He invites us to do the same.

Passage: John 13:1-20
Series: WITH
Duration: 41 mins 30 secs
Pastor Shawn Hurley – Jesus sets us the ultimate example when he tells us to wash one another's feet. We see what it means to serve one another through the humble example of Christ. Christ lays down his life continually for us, and we are called to lay down our lives for one another. Service is linked to mission as Jesus tells us that "by this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." The purpose of service is to care for one another's needs, and to show the world that we are disciples and followers of Christ.

David Krall – Christ is deeply concerned not only with the outer state of our lives, but with the inner state of our hearts. We bear fruit in the Christian life as we rid our hearts of sin. The process of ridding our hearts of sin happens through confession, repentance, and turning away from our sin. Historically what has been called confession, is sometimes described as living "honestly" and "authentically" in our Christian walk. Honesty and authenticity are important parts of growing as disciples, as we deal with the sin that is actually in our hearts in order to live in holiness and godliness.

Passage: 1 John 4:7-12
Series: WITH
Duration: 35 mins 32 secs
Pastor Shawn Hurley – The Church is called to love and care for one another in order to meet the needs that arise in the body of Christ. Since Christ has laid down His life for us, believers in the Church are called to lay down their lives for one another. In doing so, the believers grow in their discipleship of Christ. Believers are shaped more into the image of Christ as they love one another and receive love from one another. John tells us that as we love one another "God abides in us and his love is perfected in us." We grow as disciples in our sanctification and become more like Christ as love each other.
