Classes are available for infants through 5th grade during the weekend services at:
- 5:00 p.m. Saturday
- 8:00 (No nursery class), 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday
Nursery (Birth through 24 months)
In our Nursery, our ratio of infants to loving volunteers is 1 to 3. Our volunteers will carefully and lovingly attend to your child's needs while sharing the love of Jesus with them. The safety of the children is one of our highest priorities, physically and spiritually. We understand that early impressions have a lasting effect so we strive to help your little one feel safe, secure and loved while with us. Feel free to stop by and talk to our staff and see our rooms this weekend.
Early Childhood (Age 2 through Kindergarten)
Your child will be invited into a class based on their birth date to offer the best environment for them to learn about the love of Jesus. Through Bible stories, music, hand-on activities, and personal quality time, our dedicated team of volunteers lay a foundation of love and trust. We strive to help them see that the Bible has life-changing lessons to help them discover a personal relationship with Jesus.
Elementary (Grades 1 through 5)
Your child is invited to attend classes based on their grade. Every weekend our dedicated team of volunteers set out to encourage all children to experience a time of worship, Bible study, hands-on activities, and small group discussion. In a safe, non-threatening setting we explore with your child the truths found in the Bible, how these truths can be applied to life today, and your child's need for a personal relationship with Jesus. Come on by and check out what we have to offer this weekend.
Child Dedications - Father's Day weekend, June 15 and 16, 2013
Dedications are scheduled several times throughout the year. This is not a baptism and does not guarantee your child’s salvation. It’s a ceremony where parents dedicate their children back to the Lord and promise to teach their children about Jesus so they can make a personal commitment to Him. Call the Children's Ministries office for more information at 310.521.2541.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9 Spiritual training at home...
We believe at RHCC that parents are called by God to be the best and first teachers of their children. We believe we are your partners as you set out on this life long endeavor with your children. To assist you we prepare Family Edition Handouts for the lessons that will be covered in the upcoming weekend. We encourage you to go over the lesson with your child before they come to class. Read the scripture and work on the life application that may come out of it. You can find these Handouts by clicking on the link at the top of this page labeled "Bible Lessons this coming weekend." If you have any suggestions or comments on how we can better serve you please feel free to call and talk to the director -Brenda Herrera.
