Welcome to High School Ministries at Rolling Hills Covenant Church! We welcome all students in the South Bay in grades 9-12 who are interested in developing a friendship with God and with other students. Our ministry is very large (over 300 strong!), but we are very creative in finding ways of making it feel smaller and more comfortable. Come check it out; we would love to meet you!
Impact is our large group meeting for grades 9-12. It is a fun, energetic, youth group setting where you can grow in your understanding of God, the Bible, and in your relationships with other students from around the South Bay. Come hear some awesome teaching by Shawn Hurley, our High School Pastor, and on occasion, other staff and guest speakers. We meet each Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at our new Community Center located at 735 Silver Spur Rd.
In the fall, we launch our small group ministry called Impact Groups. Impact Groups are places where you can be real, ask tough questions, and be mutually encouraged in your relationship with God. DID WE MENTION THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN!!! We start at the Community Center at 6:30 p.m. for a time of Bible teaching and worship, and then move to homes all over the South Bay to apply the Bible teaching, prayer, and friendship building. Impact small groups meet from 7:45-9 p.m.
Impact groups are not social clubs, a Big Brother mentoring program, a great activity for a college application, a Christian fraternity or sorority, or designed to replace your parents. These groups are only successful if everyone is committed to the group itself and to growing in obedience to Jesus Christ.
High school students are encouraged to attend a weekend worship service with their families. Pastor Shawn and his family, as well as some of the high school staff attend Canvas. Canvas is a multi-generational worship service that many of our students choose to attend for weekend worship. It meets Sundays at 10:45 a.m. in the 290s in the Educational wing of the church.

Winter Camp: February 17 - 20, 2012: Dead Ends
The earth is slowly turning a drab shade of gray. The leaves have fallen from the trees, the air has a distinct bite, and the freshman have hit their growth spurt. All signs indicate that Winter Camp is upon us...
This February 17-20th, we will be departing for the glorious lodgings of Alpine Christian Covenant Center for a weekend of fun, worship, Bible teaching, games, snow, and goofing around. It is a weekend that will, quite simply, change your life. Get ready to make new friends and to go deeper then you ever have before in your relationship with God as we spend a four day weekend (they make those?) drinking deep from the Spirit and the Bible.
Cost is $295 and partial scholarships are available.

We will spend the week working really hard to fix up a camp that ministers to hundreds of kids during the summer, read through a great book, memorize scripture, and con-nect with each other. Registration and info will be available at winter camp and after.
