Director of Children’s Ministries

Rolling Hills Covenant Church, a large dynamic church in the South Bay, is seeking a dedicated individual with strong leadership skills and a love for Jesus Christ to fill our Director of Children’s Ministries position. 

This person will lead and continuously develop a comprehensive children’s ministries program consistent with biblical mandates, the ministry philosophy of RHCC and the contemporary needs of children represented in the church and community.

The position will be responsible to supervise, coordinate and evaluate the Children’s Ministries Staff, as well as to communicate and implement the RHCC Ministry Plan to the Children’s Staff and leaders and participants of children’s ministries.  The desired candidate will have a demonstrated passion for children in the areas of Christian education, child development, personnel management, curriculum evaluation and pastoral counseling. Requirements include a proven track record of effectiveness in recruiting; equipping and mobilizing paid and volunteer staff for ministry. Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, time management, administrative, verbal and written communication skills, and team building skills are a necessity.  Degree preferred.

 
 
This is a full time exempt position, including a full benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience.
