“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:” ( Proverbs 31:10, 27-28) ( Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.) Powered by BibleGateway.com |

At RHCC |

|
Here at RHCC we have many different opportunities for people to serve on our church campus. Good with kids? Perhaps consider volunteering in Children's Ministries on the weekends during services or serve as an Impact Leader for the high school group. Have a technical background? We are always in need of those with sound, light, or video expertise. Below are some of the opportunities available.
Starting Point
Greet newcomers at the Starting Point patio table after services. Provide them with Bibles, free music CDs, a free copy of Pastor Byron's Book, The Morning Comes and Also the Night, and answer questions about the four-week Starting Point class. Contact nancy Johnson at 310.325.3329 or

Recruitment for Children's Ministries takes place in the spring of each year. Over 200 volunteers serve every weekend to serve in our children's classes. In addition, we also need volunteers during the summer to serve during summer camp. All volunteers are carefully screened. Please contact Children's Ministries at 310.521.2541.

Come help our junior highers navigate successfully through the beginning teen years by leading them in a small group on Wednesday nights. It's an amazing opportunity to build relationships and show God's love through intimate connection with 7th and 8th graders. Leading a group is a two year commitment that starts with 7th grade. Each group is made up of 8-10 students based on grade and gender. For more information contact Pastor Lloyd Gilbert at 310.521.2537.
SOW (Serving Orphans and Widows) meets Saturdays, following God's Fraternity. Join ogther men and women from RHCC to help the widoes of our church family with minor household repairs. Contact Letty McGowan at 310.521.5275 or

Communion
RHCC serves Communion once a month at all of the services. We regard Communion as a deeply spiritual connection between Christ and ourselves. We have two different teams for our Communion services.
1. Preparation Volunteers help prepare Communion elements one Saturday or Sunday morning every other month. If you can give an hour or two, please call Jane van den Hoek 310.832.3684.
2. Servers This team helps serve Communion once each month to the congregation. Mark DiBacco, 310.548.3659, coordinates this ministry.
- Decoration/Flower Guild
A team of individuals with talent in floral arrangement and display assist in enhancing our worship experience each week. A coordinator is currently needed for this important ministry. Contact Ellynn-Marie Artusio at 310.521.2514.
Greeters
People with friendly faces and warm handshakes give a valuable impression to first-time guests. Saturday or Sunday, once monthly. If you wish to serve on Saturday, call Debbie Duncan 310.373.1360. For Sunday, contact Mary Vogt 310.375.9560.

- Pew Patrol
Every week the pews need to be restocked with blue cards, pens and Bibles. Volunteers work to fill the pews before the weekend services. There is no set day each week, just whatever day of the week works best for you. Contact Ellynn-Marie Artusio at 310.521.2514.
