High School (Grades 9 - 12)
Welcome to High School Ministries at Rolling Hills Covenant Church! We welcome all students in the South Bay in grades 9-12 who are interested in developing a friendship with God and with other students.  Our ministry is very large (over 300 strong!), but we are very creative in finding ways of making it feel smaller and more comfortable. Come check it out; we would love to meet you!

Impact

Impact is our large group meeting for grades 9-12. It is a fun, energetic, youth group setting where you can grow in your understanding of God, the Bible, and in your relationships with other students from around the South Bay. Come hear some awesome teaching by Shawn Hurley, our High School Pastor, and on occasion, other staff and guest speakers. We meet each Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at our new Community Center located at 735 Silver Spur Rd.

Impact Groups

In the fall, we launch our small group ministry called Impact Groups. Impact Groups are places where you can be real, ask tough questions, and be mutually encouraged in your relationship with God. DID WE MENTION THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN!!! We start at the Community Center at 6:30 p.m. for a time of Bible teaching and worship, and then move to homes all over the South Bay to apply the Bible teaching, prayer, and friendship building. Impact small groups meet from 7:45-9 p.m.

Impact groups are not social clubs, a Big Brother mentoring program, a great activity for a college application, a Christian fraternity or sorority, or designed to replace your parents. These groups are only successful if everyone is committed to the group itself and to growing in obedience to Jesus Christ.

High school students are encouraged to attend a weekend worship service with their families.  Pastor Shawn and his family, as well as some of the high school staff attend Canvas.  Canvas is a multi-generational worship service that many of our students choose to attend for weekend worship. It meets at 10:45 in the 290s in the Educational wing of the church.
