10:45 a.m. in the North Campus Chapel for "Chapel Option," featuring a video message of the 5:00 p.m. service and contemporary rock music.

10:45 a.m. in the 290s on the Main Campus for Canvas, a post-contemporary worship service with an emphasis on community.

What do people wear to your services?
Each service has a different style. Our Saturday night and Canvas service on Sunday mornings are casual, and it’s comfortable to come wearing jeans or shorts and sandals. Our Sunday morning services in the Worship Center are more traditional, and while there is a range of styles, you’ll see more men wearing suits and ties, and more women wearing dresses than you would at one of our Saturday evening services.

How long are your services?
Each worship service lasts approximately 75 minutes, and includes music, singing, a sermon based on the Bible, and an opportunity to give back to the Lord through our finances. After each service, our prayer teams are available to pray for you, should you choose to receive prayer.

Do you have something in writing about what you believe?
Our teaching statement outlines most succinctly our church's core beliefs.

Are your facilities accessible for people with disabilities? Yes, and people with disabilities are welcome to the church. Ample disabled parking is provided on all our campuses. The Main Campus offers an elevator to help you ascend from the lower level parking to the Worship Center.

Our Sonshine Class is designed especially to share Jesus’ love with mentally disabled adults.

Our Children’s Ministries staff includes a licensed practitioner who specializes in working with children with varying levels of special needs. We provide appropriate staff ratios in classrooms, and provide coaching for our volunteers to ensure that children with special needs have a positive church experience.

Do you have programs for children?
One of the hallmarks of our church is the range of great programs for kids, from infants through high school. We have well-equipped classrooms, three children’s play areas, and large meeting spaces, all designed with young people in mind.

For each of our weekend services, our nursery and early childhood classes are fully staffed and prepared to receive your kids, providing a loving environment to learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways. Our elementary grade classes are fun, action-packed, and provide solid teaching curriculum to help kids grow in their faith. We also have large-group programs for junior high (grades 7-8) and high school students (grades 9-12) which meet on Wednesday evenings.

If I visit, will I be asked to stand or identify myself as a visitor?

You will not be asked to stand or publicly identify yourself as a visitor during our worship services. If you want to register your visit with us so that we can contact you for prayer or to provide information, you’ll find a card in the seat back in front of you that you can fill out for this purpose. After the service, you will be invited to come out to the patio to our "Starting Point" table, where we’ll have more information about our church, and some free items for you, including an audio CD with a sample of music from RHCC and a copy of Pastor Byron’s book, The Morning Comes and Also the Night. You’ll also be invited to attend our four-week class, Starting Point, designed to help you understand what our church believes, meet some of our pastors, and learn how you can get involved.

How do I get more information about your church/the Covenant denomination?

Rolling Hills Covenant Church is a member of the Pacific Southwest Conference of the Covenant Denomination. Get more information on the Covenant Denomination at http://www.covchurch.org.

How does your church help those in need?

Rolling Hills Covenant Church is committed to fulfilling Jesus’ command "to love our neighbors as ourselves"(as stated in the Gospel of Matthew 19:19). Each weekend we extend ourselves into the local community to distribute groceries, feed the homeless, interact with shut-ins at nursing homes, and more. We work closely with Love INC to provide resources for those who need more intense or regular assistance.

Worldwide, Rolling Hills Covenant Church partners with numerous non-governmental organizations to support orphanages, provide assistance to people suffering from HIV/AIDS, provide children with education, and provide for the hungry.

Ultimately, our purpose for serving the needy is to bring glory to God. When people see His love lived out through his people in practical ways, it proves that God’s love can prevail over selfishness, indifference, and other sins. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

How do I become a member?
You do not need to become a member to attend RHCC and enjoy its programs. However, once you become more familiar with who we are and our rationale for ministry, you may be ready to commit to membership, and participate at a deeper level in church activities. Anyone who professes Jesus Christ as her/his Lord and Savior is eligible to become a member. As Rick Warren noted, "Members look for commitment; attenders look for convenience. Members are participants; attenders are spectators. Members are contributors; attenders are consumers. Members "marry" the church; attenders are "living together."
