RHCC Preschool is a half‑day enrichment program designed to meet the needs of children ages 3-5. We offer two‑day and three‑day programs with a choice of three or five hours per day. Believing that each child is a precious and unique creation of God, we use a developmental method of teaching which nurtures the individuality of each student while at the same time developing social and cognitive skills.
Each year is a precious one in the life of a young child. Here at Rolling Hills Covenant Church Preschool it is our joy and privilege to share these important years with your child.
Our Goal
We believe that each child is a unique creation of God, to be treated with love, care and respect. It is our goal to encourage a healthy self concept for each child, a love for the Lord, and an excitement and joy about learning.
 Our Program is designed to meet the varying needs of the busy preschooler by seeking to balance active and quiet times, and individual and group experiences.
Daily Schedule
Each day in an age appropriate classroom our schedule includes Jesus Time, Learning Centers (Language, Literature, Pre-Math, Science, Cooking), Story Time, Music and Movement, Art, Free Play, and Outdoor Time. We also provide a nutritious mid-morning snack for our students daily.
Loving Teachers
Our staff is composed of carefully selected individuals sensitive to the needs of children and trained in the field of Early Childhood Education with qualifying certificates.
Registration Requirements
Our Preschool is open to children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old, regardless of race, gender, color, creed and national or ethnic origin. Children must be 3-years-old by December 31 of the school year and completely toilet trained.
Enrollment Process
To enroll you must complete an application form and submit it with the $85 non-refundable registration fee. If your child is placed on the waiting list, you must complete the registration form and pay the $65 waiting list fee, which will be applied to the registration fee balance upon enrollment. The waiting list fee is non-refundable if we are able to place your child by the beginning of the school year.
Open House:
Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10:00AM - 1:00PM we hold an open house for the public to meet our teachers and visit the school. Our school is always open for tours anytime during the school year. Please feel free to contact to us and come for a visit. We will be accepting registration for the 2013-2014 school year.
Registration: We are currently accepting registration for September 2013 - June 2014 enrollment.
Registration for the 2013-2014 begins Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10:00AM - 1:00 PM for our 2013-2014 school year.
A non-refundable registration fee of $85.00 is due when you apply. Please feel free to call 310.521.2596 to check enrollement availability or stop by the preschool office. The Preschool Office is located on the Main Campus in Building B, downstairs within the Children's Ministries office.
Our regular office hours are September to June, 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Except holidays.
Parent Orientation for the 2013-2014 school year:
Thursday, September 5, 2013, 7:00PM to 8:30PM in Carlson Hall. Parents will have time for classroom visitation.
Limited childcare for students and siblings provided by reservation only. Please call the Preschool Office at 310.521.2596 for reservations. Please call by Friday, August 30, 2013.
First Day of School 2013-2014:
Monday, September 9, 2013 for the 3 Day Program and
Tuesday, September 10, 2013 for the 2 Day Program
Class Schedules
RHCC Preschool is a half-day enrichment program with classes taught Monday through Friday from 9:00AM - 12:00 noon or 9:00AM - 2:00PM from mid-September through mid-June.
Programs:
3 Hour (9:00AM - 12:00 noon) or 5 Hour (9:00AM - 2:00PM)
2 Day - Tuesday and Thursday
3 Day - Monday, Wednesday and Friday
5 Day - 3 Day plus 2 Day programs (Monday through Friday)

2 Day Program: 3 Hour $240.00 5 Hour $325.00
3 Day Program: 3 Hour $300.00 5 Hour $410.00
5 Day Program: 3 Hour $540.00 5 hour $735.00
Extended Care Options:
If you need an earlier drop off or a later pick up time for your child Monday through Friday we do have Extended Care. "Early Drop Off " that begins at 8:30-9:00 AM. Monthly registration cost: $1.00 per day. Occasional registration: $2.00 per day. We also offer "Stay and Play" it is an optional after school care program available daily from 2:00-4:00PM. Fee: Pre-paid registration: $5.00 per hour (Minimum 24 hours in advance). Same day registration: $6.00 per hour.

Easter Vacation: March 29 - April 5, 2013. School resumes, April 8, 2013
Last Day of School: June 7, 2013
Summer School: June 10 - 21, 2013, for currently enrolled students only.
