Prayer TeamPrayer for a Christian is having a conversation with God. God made us and has always wanted to enjoy being with us. As Christians, we also have the privilege to enjoy Him and call upon the Almighty God as our Heavenly Father because of Jesus Christ our Savior. God is worthy of our trust and it is a privilege to be able to speak to God about himself, and ourselves, and people in his world. For example, we can give praise to God, give thanks for benefits received, and also pray for ourselves and others. We can also receive forgiveness when we confess our sins. God is able to renew our hearts and refresh us with his presence and peace.

So it is in prayer that we exhibit reverence for God. We humble ourselves to acknowledge and seek after God's higher ways. For when we pray, we show him a true childlike dependence, asking our Heavenly Father to reveal "His" righteous will to us, so that we may walk in it. May God reveal Himself to us during our fellowship time with Him.
